Avery Rockefeller III

Avery is the co-founder of Retirement Living Services. He was responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the company, as well as heading up the new business development effort. 

Prior to founding RLS, Avery served as Director of Acquisitions for a Hartford real estate development company and as an Investment Officer in the Urban Investment Division of Connecticut Mutual Life from 1984 to 1988. He has also served as trustee on several boards, including Duncaster, a CCRC in Bloomfield, CT, the Hartford Ballet, and the Adirondack Council. Avery holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Design from Franconia College and an M.B.A. from The University of Denver Graduate School of Business and Public Management.

Avery served as the KO Board Chair from 2011-2016. His two children, Patrick and Sara, graduated from KO, and he currently lives in South Carolina with his wife, Monica.
