Right now, we don’t have this inspirational space full of books and other electronic resources for students and teachers, so the idea of a Community Commons is exciting to me.  We do many group projects in class, but finding space on campus to meet outside of class can be hard. It will be so amazing to have a place to go with quiet places, group spaces – and to have the technology we need for presentations and more creative projects.  This is our school, after all, and the whole point is to help young people learn and foster growth.  I think that in investing in all of this, we’re setting the ground for students in KO right now and showing other kids what kind of place this could be for them. And at the end of the day, we’re all a community.
